    Hey everyone,

    It has been awhile, since we’ve let you all know what we’ve up to. Let me assure you that it has been a fantastically busy past few months! We’ve been focusing on ways to make all of our upcoming projects and production information more accessible for everyone that wants to be apart of our team.

    We have been hard at work on new scripts that are going to blow you all away. Local actors and production gurus can expect to see information in regards to upcoming auditions and meetings very soon.

    Where might you find this information? Glad you asked! We are proud to announce that DC Women’s Theatre Group has just launched it’s new website, www.dcwomenstheatregroup.com. Not only will you have access to the most pertinent information for DCWTG, but you can also checkout pictures and behind the scene footage. Lastly, you’ll also be able to access all of our social media from the site - so that you don’t miss a thing.

    We are so fortunate for all of the amazing things coming our way, and we can’t wait for you to be apart of it!




  2. Year of The Woman Original Theatre Series is Prepared to Launch!

    Hey theatrefam!

    This year isn’t just any old year for DCWTG. This year is the Year of the Woman! Our Year of the Woman original theatre series brings bigger and bolder pieces, which have become a staple for our productions over the last couple years.

    However, we have more than just new shows coming your way. We have exciting events, contests and so much more that we can wait to tell you about! Our launch event, Season of Sisterhood will take place on May 11th at 7:30 pm at The Festival Center, located in Washington, DC. We have a few surprises in store and as always you can expect to experience theatre how you never have before!

  3. Lost Letters Recap (with Videos and Photos)!

    Lost Letters premiered February 22nd and 23rd at DC Arts Center to sold out crowds both nights! The performers gave their all as they tapped into the lives of these remarkable men and women and fed off the live energy of the audiences. 
    Here are some highlights from the show:
